I am a researcher and practitioner specializing in physical ergonomics, ergonomic design, artificial intelligence applications in ergonomics, evaluation of hand tools, and exoskeletons. My professional experience spans across surface EMG, C++ programming, Internet of Things (IoT), AVR microcontrollers, signal processing, motion analysis, machine learning, laboratory study design, and healthcare ergonomics, complemented by five years of clinical experience in hospitals. I am deeply passionate about leveraging ergonomics and design to improve people’s quality of life. At the university’s innovation and incubation center, I design and develop ergonomic chair supports and other ergonomic products. With more than 20 registered patents and as the Head of Intellectual Property at the university, I am committed to advancing technology and fostering innovation in academia. On the international stage, I serve as a secretary for the Ergonomics Standard Committee (TC 159) and contribute as a reviewer for this committee worldwide, in collaboration with the School of Public Health. My long-term mission is to create innovative solutions that enhance safety, efficiency, and well-being in workplaces, while also educating and raising awareness about the importance of ergonomics in achieving both personal and professional goals.
